PEOPLE * Namibias President Sam Nujoma officially inaugurated the first ever telephone services in the Tsumkwe constituency formerly known as Bushmanland, during a ceremony held at Tsumkwe some 300km east of Grootfontein. The San people, once described by an American academic expert as "off the information highway", played host to a gathering that included local Chiefs John Arnold, Bobo and Sara Sungu as well as representatives of the companies that completed the contract.
