AiM Call for Submissions: Features and Shorts
 
AiM is currently accepting film submissions - features, documentaries and shorts - for its 2012 festival edition, which will take place from 25 Oct to 2 Nov 2012 at Filmhouse Cinema in Edinburgh. AiM 2012 is focusing its programme on films and events that represent Africa as part and parcel of the modern, globalised world; and will be seeking to discover and explore - through film and other popular culture manifestations - how modernity manifests in African cultures. Foster Care Film Festival
Call for Entries
For the 4th edition of the Foster Care Film Festival (France), the organization Attention Chantier calls for entries. If you have movies about Africa (development, culture, politic, history), Migrations (rural, local, international), on Popular fights (housing, work, minority)... Please send an email to present your movies to adeline@attentionchantier.org.

 ‘Samshortfilm’ is giving South African filmmakers another platform to tell their stories. Entries are open from 12th of March 2012 to the 30th of June 2012 and qualifying films will be available on the Samshortfilm website from the 1st of April 2012.

Successfully launched in New York last year, the Dialogue of Cultures Festival is very proud to announce its $40,000 grant program for the production of a 30-minute documentary that best captures the festival's theme in a creative and vibrant way.
