AFRICA ONLINE UNVEILS INTERNET FILTER SOLUTION FOR PARENTS

Africa Online last week launched an interactive web-based solution that allows Internet users to filter content that is harmful to the children. The product, dubbed Internet Parental Guidance (IPG), will be run in collaboration with We-Blocker Corporation of America.

The solution particularly targets pop-up sites that are used to advertise pornography, gambling, weaponry, drugs, alcohol, violent or foul language as well as control access to any other sites that are deemed to be unsuitable for children.
