Mobile operator Econet Wireless Burundi (EWB) has signed a deal with ZTEsoft for the supply of a convergent billing solution to support its enlarged network following its consolidation with U-com Burundi (leo) last year. EWB completed its acquisition of leo in October 2014 and now counts more than 2.7 million subscribers on its books. Taking delivery of the ZSmart cvBS V8.0 convergent billing system will enable it to cope with increasing demand from the bigger subscriber base. ZTEsoft says the new solution will offer users a unified experience featuring open and cloud-based architecture designed for easy integration and big data analytics.
