BBH selects Alepo convergent billing, CRM platform

Alepo announced a new partnership with Broadband Home (BBH), Ghana's broadband wireless access provider, to support the growth of its LTE, Wimax and Wi-Fi broadband services, including the introduction of IPTV services in Ghana. BBH selected Alepo Service Enabler (SE) 9 – Alepo's convergent charging, billing and CRM platform – citing its goals of market differentiation with new types of data plans and offers, a more sophisticated customer experience, and streamlined operations across multiple access networks and services. With Alepo SE, BBH will be able to launch prepaid and postpaid data offers for multiple services. Alepo SE enables BBH to grow its broadband business, in terms of its revenue, data usage and subscribers, as well as introduce services like mVoIP (IP voice service under the brand name Ziptel) and ZipTV (IPTV service). Spurred by the success of IPTV deployments in North Africa, BBH is hoping to replicate the success in Ghana as well.
