Cell C LTE to hit Western Cape soon

Cell C has announced that it will launch LTE connectivity in the Western Cape on December 1. The launch comes just in time for the festive season, the network noted.

"I am exceptionally proud of the team for getting the Western Cape up and running so quickly. The first phase of 280 sites across the Western Cape is now complete and ready for customers to enjoy," says Cell C CEO Jose Dos Santos.

The same offer seen in Gauteng and KZN would apply to Western Cape customers too.

The launch comes as Cell C spends over R2-billion on its LTE data network this year.
