Dark Fibre Africa CEO to step down

Gustav Smit, founder and CEO of Dark Fibre Africa (DFA), has revealed that he will be retiring from his position. The company revealed that Smit will officially leave the DFA at the end of June, 2016.

According to the company, the board wishes to thank Smit for his leadership and the major role he has played in developing DFA into a significant participant in the telecoms industry.

According to the company’s board, Thinus Mulder will be appointed as the new CEO of DFA. Thinus as CFO has played a major role in the development of DFA over the last 8 years, and will take over from the 1st July 2016.
