Cloud service now backs up Samsung Galaxy smartphones
Samsung says it has launched its own cloud service that allows Galaxy users to quickly upgrade, back up and retrieve their data applications.
The dedicated cloud service for Galaxy users allows them to easily synchronise their data to the latest cutting-edge mobile device by switching to a new phone or restoring an older device, according to the phone maker.
‘Samsung Cloud’, which was launched, following the release of Galaxy Note7, ”offers 15 gigabytes of storage available to Galaxy users”, the company says noting that the service lets users backup their data without having to use USB cables.
The cloud service ensures that users are never far from the data they need, works continuously to back up native apps such as Calendar and Contacts, as well as select third-party apps, so users can start right where they left off on a new device.
