Forum discusses ICT solutions for Africa

IGF is a platform where African heads of state, AU representatives as well as private sector come to discuss the continents ICT policies, challenges and possible solutions for Africa.(SABC)

The African Internet Governance Forum (IGF) is currently underway in Durban, KwaZulu-Natal.

The Department of Telecommunications and Postal Services (DTPS) and the African Union have collaborated with private sector stakeholders to discuss digital solutions such as ICT skills development, broadband and the gender digital divide among other issues.

Dr Mouhamadou Moussa from Hauwei spoke to SABC Network Producer Lebogang Sejake about the partnership with the DTPS in the 5th African Internet Governance Forum.
