East Africa PC market shrinks by 8.6% in Q4 2016

The personal computer (PC) market for East Africa, comprising Kenya, Ethiopia, Tanzania, and Uganda, declined by 8.6 percent year on year in the fourth quarter of 2016, according to the International Data Corporation (IDC).

The consultancy said shipments for the quarter fell to 113,303 units, hit by a combination of political, monetary and economic factors.
