Telecoms

The Libya Post, Telecommunications and IT Company (LPTIC) has completed the restoration of mobile and landline services in the city of Sirte, writes The Libya Observer. The news comes after Sirte had been cut off from the rest of Libya by militant group Islamic State (IS), as they occupied the city for more than two years. IS have since been driven from the city and the news of telecommunications restoration is a positive step in Sirte’s recovery process.
