Angola's state-run television station TPA is to inaugurate this Thursday a weekly programme named "Angola, a caminho das Eleiçoes" (Angola on its way to the elections), says ANGOP news agency. The programme will broadcast educative themes relating to the poll, which will culminate with the September 2008 voting process.

It will provide a direct contact with voters that may ask for explanations on all matters regarding the electoral process, through a letter addressed to "Angola, a caminho das eleciçoes- TPA". Its 30-minute first edition will be presented by the journalist Francisco Alexandre and includes an interview with the chairman of the National Electoral Commission, Caetano de Sousa.
