- The Minister for Trade, Industry, Presidential Initiative and Private Sector Development, Mr. Joe Baidoe-Ansah, found himself on the wrong side of etiquette last week, when he disrupted a live programme broadcast on Metro TV, because he disagreed with the comments that were being made by one of the panellists. Hon Joe Baidoe-Ansah, Minister for Trade, Industry, PSD & PSI says he regrets disrupting Metro TV's "Good Evening Ghana" programme of April 24, 2008, which aired at the Ghana International Conference Centre during the UNCTAD XII.
- The community radio station "Viana", affiliated to the state-run Angola's National Radio (RNA), starts as from this Monday its regular broadcast. This radio station will provide cultural information and leisure programmes to Viana District inhabitants. The station will broadcast in the FM system at 92.8 megahertz.
