- Already the most popular football competition in Ghana, the Premiership will have a bigger presence on free-to-air television for the first after years of dominance by pay TV.Three free-to air networks, Ghana Television, TV3 Network and Net 2 have all been handed one live game every weekend plus a full highlights program that will ensure the Premiership will reach more homes in Ghana than ever before.The deal for the local TV stations is in addition to the availability all other live games on two pay TV networks.

- Angolan public television (TPA) has launched an international channel that's initially available in Europe. TPA says that the new channel - carried on Eutelsat W3A - carries flagship programmes from domestic channels TPA1 and TPA2.
