Distribution In Brief

- The UK-based broadcaster, SW Radio Africa that beams its programming back to Zimbabwe, has been overwhelmed by requests for its SMS news feeds. The station, backed by a range of humanitarian and philanthropic organisations, says that new requests for SMS can't be met because of the increasing cost of providing the service. Instead, it's asking existing users of its SMS service to forward the texts on to as many people as possible, to ensure that the station's news service is widely seen in Zimbabwe.
