IMG sells international programs shot in Africa


At MIPCOM, IMG Entertainment was selling three major productions about Africa:

*"Ross Kemp - in search of pirates" shows Ross Kemp investigates the rarely seen, dangerous and secretive world of modern piracy. With his BAFTA winning documentary team, Ross travels to the three pirate hotspots of the world: Somalia, Nigeria and South East Asia. He discovers why people commit acts of piracy, how they steal ships to order and kidnap crews, holding international companies to ransom and making millions of dollars in the process.

A 3 x 45 min Tiger Aspect production.

On top of these three programs, IMG is also be distributing ATP World Tour 250 - South Africa Open. Rights are available wold-wide except in sub-Saharan Africa. After the success of 2009’s inaugural event, the SA Open will return to Johannesburg in the first week of February 2010.
