Dr. Holger Hendel, one of the founders of the company and currently the Managing Director further explained: "We have registered buyers and sellers from over 70 countries around the World: Americas, Europe, Asia and Oceania. The next region for us is Africa. At the end of last year, somebody said to me: Africa is an attractive market, but very few outside of Africa take care of it. You should promote your solution in Africa. The idea now is to enter this market. It makes a lot of sense for African industry players to use our solution: travelling to and from Africa is expensive, and we save on travel costs and video transportation.
Professionals on the African continent usually lack cash flow to enable them to attend the big content shows and to visit contacts in order to buy or sell productions. We would like to help quality productions from Nollywood and other African productions get out of Africa. We also want to support local TV stations and other types of broadcasters with new exciting content, which could come from Africa or elsewhere."
Dr. Hendel later adds: "For content buyers and sellers, registration is free of charge. They just need to register properly so that we can be sure that they are real professionals. Our role is then to help content owners and distributors as well as sellers work together."
