Nollywood Worldwide Entertainment re-launches Nigeria Television Fashion Show to “meet international standards”

In a bid to reach out to more audiences within and outside the country, the Nigerian Television Fashion Show (NTFS) produced by Nollywood Worldwide Entertainment (part of Galaxy), has set up plans to take the fashion industry to the next level; This is what Nollywood Worldwide Entertainment’s General Manager, Kolawole Akintoba recently disclosed during a press conference held at Federal Palace Hotel.

According to Akintoba, "since the inception of the show five years ago, the NFS has not only celebrated the creative ability of Nigerian and African designers through the use of local fabrics but has also created a platform for young and budding designers to come on stage by projecting them to the world".

"Beginning from tomorrow the 18th of April, 2010, the Nigeria Television Fashion show will witness a rebirth, as it becomes the Nigeria Television Fashion Show- Reloaded" he added. The first edition of the new NTFS reloaded, will be held at the external ballroom of Federal Palace and would feature a handful of accomplished Nigerian designers like: Nobel Afrik, Regalia, Frank Oshodi, Remi Lagos, Modela Couture, Rave Plus, Beulah Ethnic and Trends, Azaam Couture, Anjoreen Couture and Ibile Vogue.

The event, which has been repackaged to meet international standards, apart from showing renowned designers, it will also feature up-and-coming coming designers.
