In Brief:

Distribution

- The Tanzania Football Federation (TFF) has had no luck in finding a broadcaster willing to cover its Premier League Matches which start on 21 August.

- The Tanzanian free-to-air channel Clouds TV has signed up for a range of music and lifestyle programming from the pan-African music channel MTV base.

- Feature film “Bena Bilili!” from Renaud Barret and Florent de La Tullaye – produced by Studio 37 - will come out in September 2010 and will be distributed globally.

- On August 16, 2010, Arqiva Landed Multi-Year Deal with Traffic Sports International for Program Delivery to the Americas, Europe, Middle East, Africa and Asia. Arqiva closed the deal with Traffic Sports International to support global distribution of its seven international soccer leagues. Via Arqiva, the television rights holder to Latin America’s key soccer tournaments will reach TV households throughout the World. From the UK, the feeds are then turned around from W2A to Telstar 10 for distribution over the Middle East and Asia. Subsequent tournaments will also be distributed to Africa via Arqiva’s infrastructure.
