The 17th “Out in Africa” Film Festival
Johannesburg, 14th - 31st October 2010, Cape Town - 21st October - 7th November.
With Oscar nominees and multiple award winners, this year's festival has a tremendous variety of films that deal with themes that includes: betrayal, living duplicitously, homophobia, making choices, celebration and enjoyment. The films come from all over the world and include thrillers, dramas, suspense, documentaries and comedies.

Kenya International Film Festival (KIFF - 5th edition)

The fifth edition of KIFF will be a combination of film screening, capacity building workshops, theme nights and a celebration of the 5th anniversary. The Festival has attracted over 250 films from all over the world; among them are world classics and new releases.

Luanda International Film Festival (FIC-Luanda 2010)
Luanda, Angola

The Luanda International Film Festival was established in March 2008 here, under a Government decree signed by former minister of Culture, Boaventura Cardoso, in the light of a new policy for cinematographic and audiovisual industry in Angola.
This year, the commission, headed by the director of the Angolan Institute of Cinema and Audiovisual, Pedro Ramalho, includes António Afonso, Pedro Magalhães, Francisco Costa, Jerónimo Belo and Aguinaldo Cristóvão, as well as Culture Ministry officials. With this event, the Culture Ministry intends to gather contributions enabling to re-think and restore the national cinema.
