KAFF - Call for entries

The Kwa-Zulu Natal African Film Festival (KAFF), the provincial community-based event hosted by Ekhaya Multi Arts Centre calls filmmakers to submit their films for the 7th edition of the December festival.

The Global Film Initiative, which promotes original filmmaking by individuals from around the world, has announced a call for the Winter 2011 cycle of its feature film production grants programme.

4Syte Music Video Awards Slated for November 20th. 2010

4Syte TV has announced the nominees for the 2010 Ghana Music Video Awards to be held at the Accra International Conference Centre on November 20. The nominees were announced at a meeting held at the offices of 4 Syte TV in Accra.

According to the management of 4Syte TV, organizers of the awards, this year’s Ghana Music Video Awards will witness historic musical performances by some selected seasoned Ghanaian music icons whose music have gone down well with music lovers.

The music video awards is to reward deserving artistes for their hard work, dedication and contribution to Ghana’s music and video industries.

The awards ceremony is expected to attract a large number of stakeholders, including international artistes from UK, Nigeria, Togo, and Cote D’Ivoire, among others.

The awards is to help nurture the growth of the music video industry in Ghana, as well as create a platform for industry players to meet and brainstorm ideas and give recognitions that would propel them to strive for excellence.
