- The next DISCOP AFRICA will take place in Nairobi, Kenya, 7-8-9 September 2011 at the Hilton Nairobi hotel. Do not delay in booking your registration as early bird specials are available for a limited time. Sponsors are still negotiating so plan ahead and make sure you get early visibility at the best value for money. Minimum sponsorship fees start from 500 Euros to 10000 Euros. Entry tickets for sellers is 1000 Euros, and for buyers entry price start from 300 Euros (Free with early bird special).
- CFI has announced plans to provide at least one third of its cooperation initiatives in Africa to broadcasting corporations in English-speaking countries. With respect to training initiatives, CFI has just started an archive support plan for three East African countries: Kenya, Tanzania and Uganda. The organisation is also looking at other initiatives for Zambia, Zimbabwe and Ethiopia. Sports programmes are generally very popular with CFI’s TV partners in English-speaking Africa.
