- The Nigerian Premier league (NPL) has warned clubs to stop making public comments capable of destroying the league over the nonpayment of their television rights dues, urging them to exercise patience on the issue. The league in a statement said it has been faced with acute financial problems, but insisted on making sure that the ongoing league season is run with the little funds made available by the sponsors for the meantime in order to ensure that justice is done to the league matches.
- South Africa’s NFVF released the annual co-production review in Apr. 2012. The co-production report is annual review of a survey of all the co-production projects submitted for advance ruling as co-production projects. The review is used as a barometer to assess the impact of co-productions to the South African film industry while also studying the economic value brought by such collaboration.
