Internet Gabon Launches Triple Net project in Libreville


Company Internet Gabon conducted Tuesday in Libreville the launch of its Triple Net project, a partnership with the SES and Hughes Advantage. 

The event was enhanced by the presence of the Minister of Gabon in charge of the digital economy, Post and telecoms, Blaise Loembé. 

This partnership will allow the three companies to finance the Triple Net project with an amount of 12 million dollars. 

The Triple Net project will facilitate the introduction of a product for rural areas and the general public for the provision of internet access, radio, satellite TV and expansion into the sub-region of Francophone Africa. 

Other objectives include broadening the range of value added services while lowering the costs of Internet access; Consolidate and expand the subscriber base in the sub-region of Francophone Africa.

According to officials of the company, service charges will start from 50 000 FCFA, with fast delivery and very simple installation. 

First private internet provider (ISP) in Gabon, Internet Gabon has already installed over 500 VSAT equipment and 50 BLR. 

It is the leading VSAT operator of in the CEMAC region with over 500 installed sites. Internet Gabon has initiated an expansion strategy in the sub region.
