- Nollywood actor Jim Iyke has revealed that he will be airing  his own reality TV show that will give his fans undiluted access into his life. The reality show, titled Jim Iyke Unscripted, is a joint production of African Magic and Oh Africa TV. The deal was reportedly brokered by Jim’s Uk-based management company Greyology Inc. The show is expected to be based on the true life story of the actor famed to be Nollywood’s bad boy and it will give viewers access to all areas of his life. It is expected to hit the screen in some few weeks.

- The NFVF hosted the In Conversation With Filmmakers on International Platforms at the 33rd Durban International Film Festival as part of its participation at the festival. Watch the video here. The organization also hosted the Sediba SPARK Scriptwriting workshop during the same event.

- Now here is another book that's worth reading: "Editions l'Harmattan" just published "Les Cinémas d'Afrique des nannies 2000" in French by Olivier Barlet (from Afro-cultures).  African films' fans need to add it to their book list to learn more about the African continent's films that made a difference in that period.

- Leading African TV content distributor Côte Ouest is moving into production with its first series, comedy drama Inspector First Class (13x45-minutes). Currently in development, the series follows the comedic exploits of a detective working for the African Bureau of Investigation, who no-one takes seriously. Full story here
