Nigeria's online business Television (WebTV) has announced the launch of its Web Portal and corporate service. The online business television & video service was founded in May 2011 as an add-on complement to the financial market information service of Proshare, Nigeria's leading financial information communication analyst and investor relations firm.

A statement by the Managing Director/CEO, MOlufemi Awoyemi said the WebTV service since its creation has grown into a dedicated service catering for a wider audience in the investing and commercial business community. He added that with the introduction of the WebTV portal and the recent changes made, the platform offers a common sense approach to meeting the changing needs of today's business community and financial market.

The statement said that the WebTV Banking Channel delivers on the latest Nigerian Banking sector news, trends, products, service, regulation and compliance information with expert and analyst opinions, executive interviews and consumer views.

"The WebTV Investing channel is all about placing information from publicly traded companies directly in front of savvy investors looking for smart stocks and investment opportunities," the statement said.
