Congo is hosting Africa's largest literary festival this week. It's called "Amazing Travellers" - and it brings together more than 80 well-known writers and poets, most of them from Africa. Nollywood: Call for sreenwriting closing 5th March

Introducing the first sreenwriting competition, Nollywood Uncut is seeking entries from brilliant screenwriters looking for a break into Nollywood. A major project is underway and the successful script will be made into a Nollywood film in 2013.
Rules:

1.  Submissions are scored on character development, story, dialogue, structure and originality.

2. Cover must include script title, your name, address and phone number.

3. First page must be a synopsis of the film in no more than four paragraphs.

4. Format must be in word or PDF.

5. Must not have been previously produced.

6. Screenplay must be in English with minimum grammartical errors.

7.Judges decisions are final.

The iRepresent International Documentary Film Festival has opened a call to all filmmakers for the submission of entries. This year's festival, themed "Reconnections", is scheduled to take place from the 21st to the 24th of March 2013 at Terra Kulture, Victoria Island and Freedom Park Marina in Lagos, Nigeria.
