- Broadcast Engineering reports that global information and measurement company Nielsen is implementing a pilot programme that will measure, for the first time, audience statistics for TV content viewed on the internet. Major US networks such as ABC, CBS, NBC and Fox, among others have agreed to participate in the test, which runs from May to July 2013. Nielsen will provide overnight audience data, including unique audience, stream counts and reach by age and gender.
