Zuku: Commissioning brief for a Documentary Series 

Zuku TV  is  seeking  to  commission its second documentary series for broadcast on the only documentary channel produced in Africa, Zuku Life, Channel 400.       
The topic could  range  from  social  documentary  to  history  to  factual  entertainment  to   profiles  to  travel, but each idea should be  bold and original, and conceptually  robust.     
We are looking for propositions that are unique, original and bring fresh insight into the industry.   

The concept should also have a broad  appeal and posses the ability to travel across the  continent.    
The  series  must  be:    
␣Unique,  original  and  fresh  
␣Tell  African  stories  in  a  memorable  way 
␣Appeal  to  a  broad  audience  (international)  
␣Exportable  to  other  territories  
␣Resonate  with  the  African  continent/viewers  
␣Have  strong,  relatable  African  stories    
␣Informative  and  educative  
␣Reflect  diversity  and  current  realities  
␣Have  a  long  shelf  life
