DISCOP turns focus on production and investment

DISCOP AFRICA is engineered to specifically welcome delegates attending as Producers/ investors / buyers and help them explore co-production opportunities, showcase projects and ideas and develop practical survival skills. 

Players can take part in DISCOPRO, a pitching, matchmaking and training program developed in partnership with Africa's most dynamic production communities, and specifically designed to meet their ambitions and to help them share their desire to develop, co-produce and distribute TV content Made in Africa.

The DISCOPRO program offered during DISCOP AFRICA 2013 has been developed in partnership with Africa’s most active production communities and is expected to attract 200+ independent producers from French, English and Portuguese speaking Africa; 100+ acquisition, commissioning, coproduction and distribution executives seeking new talent and ideas; and 50+ financiers representing public and private organizations interested in content coproduction investment opportunities.

The DISCOPRO / AFRICA 2013 program is presented with the support of WANANCHI GROUP, East Africa’s leading entertainment operator and the second largest Pay-TV operator in Africa.
