- Several African films are screening until 13 October as part of the African Creative Economy Conference in Cape Town. Titles include Karamoja Joint (Uganda, 2011), a dance workshop film directed by Zafurula and Abdul Kinyenya. During a three-week stay in the Karamoja region with the International Organisation for Migration, Abdul Kinyenya gave dance workshops for youths in the districts of Abim, Amudat, Kotido and Nakapiripiriti.
