Big Break Legacy winners to be announced on Saturday


It’s the reality show with one of the biggest prizes on South African television. The Big Break Legacy is back on SABC2 from 17 August at 9pm and Season 2’s winner will walk away with a whopping R5-million investment.

This year’s Top 12 contestants come from across the country and their businesses are as diverse as they are. However, they have one thing in common – they are all out to win the top prize so expect a Herculean battle.

Not only does The Big Break Legacy make for gripping television as contestants do battle to emerge as the person with the best business idea but the programme helps combat unemployment by demystifying entrepreneurship and making it accessible to viewers.

Going for R5-million and about to become household names in the country. SA’s new reality TV stars were announced in Johannnesburg earlier this year. They are Teboho Mafodi, Charmaine Kleynhans, Zama Sibinda, Jared Pillai, Christiaan (Kris) Muller, Thati Mashao, Adele Lourens, Tsepiso Makhubedu, Ifthakaar Shaik, Kelebogile Seleka and Sanele Makinane. The 12th finalist  Ntokozo Biyela was not at the announcement as he was on a business trip to India.

The seven men and five women – who range in age from 19 to 49 and come from around this country – have diverse business ideas but all believe that they have what it takes to be No 1.

The compelling entrepreneurial reality TV show The Big Break Legacy returns to SABC2 with Season 2’s winner receiving a R5-million investment into their business on 17 August 2013 at 9pm.

The final episode of The Big Break Legacy is broadcast on November 9th. at 9pm on SABC 2 and repeated on Sunday, November 10th. 2013 on SABC 1 and CNBC.
