Nelson Rolihlahla Mandela, born July 18, 1918 was a historic leader of the struggle against racial segregation "apartheid" in his home country South Africa.
He was imprisoned for 27 years on Robben Island and become some time after its release the first black president of South Africa.

In one term, he will work for reconciliation between whites and blacks. He is elevated to a living heritage and receives the Nobel Peace Prize. Generations were inspired by his wisdom and his courage.
