Nomiation of François Guilbeau as President of the Community of Francophones Television

On 12/19/2013, François Guilbeau, Director of France 3 network was elected for a second term as President of the Community of Francophones Television
(CTF ) after the Board of Directors was held in Paris on 13 December 2013.

The Board reaffirmed the essential role of the CTF in strengthening the French audiovisual space.
With so many business challenges that public television face today, CTF provides a unique forum for exchange, collaboration and foresight.

The Community will celebrate its 50th anniversary during the next plenary session in June 2014 which will bring together programme managers of French public channels of the North.

The Community of Francophones Television (CTF) includes 12 television channels in French:
France: France 2, France 3, France 4, France 5, France Ô, TV5 Monde , Belgium: RTBF - Switzerland: RTS –
Canada: Radio -Canada , Télé-Québec , RDI, TV5 Québec Canada.

Nelson Mandela had deep ties to Hollywood. Gbenga Akinnagbe the Nigerian American actor
, best known for his role as Chris Partlow on the HBO TV series The Wire has been cast in Fox‘s long running smash hit franchise 24, titled 24: Live Another Day, set to be filmed in London in January. Gbenga will be playing cocky and determined field operative Erik Ritter along side Giles Matthey who will play a CIA technology specialist.
Gbenga is also working on a number of film projects with the London based Distributors Talking Drum Entertainment scheduled for release in 2014.
