AfricaCast will take place from 11th - 13th November 2014 at the Cape Town Convention Centre, South Africa.

AfricaCast 2014 is now accepting Speaker Applications.  The agenda this year promises to be more exciting than ever with CXO level innovators from global broadcasters, local content providers and OTT innovators. Over three days the conference will examine:

A special extended fireside chat with Marie Lora-Mungai looking at the evolution of Buni TV. The visionary OTT guru and CEO of Buni TV and Buni Media, will be discussing in detail the evolution of African OTT, the importance of content partnerships and her focus on strong local content. This will be the centrepiece of the Multiplatform focus day, the first day of the conference which brings together OTT video innovators from across the African continent.

Evaluating The Development of The Digital Switchover In Sub-Saharan Africa: The challenges around DTT in Africa continue to remain central to the future of African broadcasting. This session will be assessing the current situation for broadcasters in Sub-Saharan Africa and looking at the route forward.
