Alibi On TV one of the largest entertainment deals


In what looks like one of the biggest entertainment deals to have been sealed in Africa, the Chairman of Anis Guards, Isaac Fayose, has signed an agreement with an American Executive, Eugene Mc'nair, to float a private television station, Alibi On TV and Alibi Records.

Isaac who is a younger brother to the PDP governorship candidate in Ekiti State, Ayo Fayose, disclosed that the new television station, which would air on the cable, has a focus to capture and showcase entertainment events in Africa, Europe and America.

Isaac said: "I have been in the entertainment industry for a long time; so I understand what television is to our audience. In other to give our viewers the quality they want, we've bought the rights to cover many of the biggest entertainment events in the US and the United Kingdom and we've already put all the necessary measures on ground to capture and delight our viewers with graphic details of entertainment event and news in Nigeria."

The American partner of Alibi On TV who is the executive director of the company says his relocation to Nigeria is in tandem with what the company aims at achieving with the promotion of entertainment culture and its feedback to the rest of the world.

The opening of Alibi On TV is slated for May 25, 2014, with a dance party at the Alibi Lounge, Lekki, Lagos.
