A bomb blast targeting a television viewing centre for football in northeast Nigeria (Adamawa) killed an unknown number of people, a police spokesman said. Source: All Africa 

The Ivorian Ministry of Communications issued a response to organization Reporters Without Borders (RSF) which has accused the Minister Lamine-Affoussiata Bamba of "interference in private broadcasting to a neighboring country." The accusation was made after the suspension in Benin, on 30 May 2014, of two TV programs dedicated to the Ivorian Popular Front, the party of Laurent Gbagbo, the former Ivorian president today jailed and trialed at the International Criminal Court.
