Pana TV announces partnership with Mercedes-Benz International Fashion Film Festival

For the first time ever in Africa, the genre of fashion film will be celebrated in the inaugural Mercedes-Benz International Fashion Film Festival, which takes place in Cape Town, South Africa, from Saturday, 5 to Monday, 7 July.

Fashion film has gradually become the preferred medium used by top fashion houses as a way of showcasing their brand, as it not only exposes a collection to a global audience, but also allows for the creative process of illustrating the personality and ethos of the fashion label.

The project brings together the most talented artists, filmmakers and designers in the industry – and affords them the opportunity to showcase their cinematic take on the extraordinary world of high-end fashion.

As exclusive VOD partner, Pana TV will stream footage from the red carpet, as well as interviews with designers, artists and filmmakers on its platform.

“Pana TV is very excited to be part of this milestone in the evolution of the African fashion and film industry as VOD partner, and to work with Bokeh FFF and Mercedes-Benz to highlight and celebrate Africa’s talents in fashion and film,” said Mandy Roger, COO of Pana TV.

"I am delighted to welcome Pana TV as our VOD partners to this prestigious event. The relationship will be mutually beneficial to both our brands as we endeavour to bring visually sumptuous material directly to people on smart devices and in their homes. It’s wonderful to know that people all over Africa, and the rest of the world, will be a part of our Festival," said Adrian Lazarus, Mercedes - Benz Bokeh South African International Fashion Film Festivalmanaging director.
