Nollywood and African Film Critics’ Award winners announced

The 4th Nollywood and African Film Critics' Awards (NAFCA) and the NAFCA Special Honours 2014 took place on 13 September at the Saban Theatre in Beverly Hills, California.

NAFCA, commonly referred to as The African Oscars, are US awards for achievements in the African film industry, while the NAFCA Special Honors are awarded to individuals whose professional careers have been marked by noteworthy personal and professional accomplishments.

This year, the ceremony was hosted by Lester Speight, Kalitta Smith, writer and actor Michael Adegoke, Hollywood actor Jackie Christie, recording artist Sphynix Rose, Hollywood regular Tony Davis and comedian Trey Elliott.
