EbonyLifeTV and Summview to launch VOD platform
At the first edition of DISCOP Africa in Abidjan, Côte d’Ivoire, Ebonylife TV announced a strategic partnership with Summview to launch a premium multi-screen VOD platform.
The new partnership allows EbonyLife TV to offer its African diaspora users the ability to access – from their smartphones, tablets or laptops – unique, Africa-made, on-demand content. Users can download the application, Ebonylife TV, on the Apple Store and the Google Play Store and can visit the EbonyLife TV website for more information. Users have the option to subscribe for a month or a year.
“We at EbonyLife TV are very excited that our teeming audiences in the diaspora can now catch up on EbonyLife TV on-the-go! With this premium VOD platform, Ebonylife TV expands its range of services and mobile applications and provides the African Diaspora subscribers, outside of Africa, an innovative offering of premium quality content made in Nigeria for the World. The ‘one stop shop’ offer of Summview allowed mastering the costs and securing the roll-out,” said Mo Abudu, executive chairperson and CEO of Ebonylife TV.
Denis Pagnac, CEO of Summview said, “Summview is pleased to deploy its premium VOD platform for EbonyLife TV. The Summview Content Delivery Solution, a SaaS platform proposed in white label, is designed to meet the specific needs of each client, allowing EbonyLife TV to propose its unique catalogue of African content, efficiently and cost-effectively to a worldwide audience.”
