Kyle Lewis directs Loeries promo for Native VML
Arcade Content’s Kyle Lewis directed the Creativity Unites call for entries promo for the Loeries, which will bring the advertising industry from Africa and the Middle East together in Durban, South Africa this August.
The Loeries promo is full of the typically bold visuals Kyle is known for, which have seen him widely acclaimed as South Africa’s top music video director.
“This promo shows how Kyle’s knack for unique, bold music videos translates into a knack for unique, bold brand work,” says Arcade’s producer William Nicholson.
The Loeries campaign marks Kyle’s second collaboration with Native VML, following on from Africa Is Absolut, Absolut Vodka’s brand campaign for last year’s MTV Africa Music Awards.
Kyle is also currently finishing off his first campaign for Volkswagen via Ogilvy & Mather Cape Town, as agency doors continue to open for this multi-award-winning 20-something.
“Kyle’s on a roll,” says Will. “Exodus is the only South African work this year to have been selected as a Hot Shot by Shots, while another of his Riky Rick videos, Fuseg, now has over 1.2m views on YouTube and has just been nominated for a South African Music Award for Best Music Video. We’re excited for the next chapter of his career as he starts to do more agency work.”
