New African Pavilion at MIPTV 2017
25 January 2017
Reed MIDEM is pleased to announce the creation of a pan-African pavilion to serve as a spotlight destination at MIPTV for distributing into and acquiring content from Africa.
The 54th annual MIPTV, the global market for TV and digital content, will take place 3-6 April in Cannes, France.
Sub-Saharan Africa is a huge and diverse part of the world with a rich tradition of storytelling and fast growing pay TV market, expected to double by 2021. The African pavilion at MIPTV 2017 will support this growth by providing African producers and distributors with an international platform for developing content cooperation and exports.
The African pavilion offers exhibition space for companies looking to sell and buy TV programs with the option of individual display pods with desk and screen or a closed meeting room.
In addition, the Pavilion will host an African Delegate Lounge to provide casual meeting space for networking for African delegates.
African TV professionals attending MIPTV through the pavilion and registered before the 15 February 2017 can save up to 50% on normal registration rates.
