MTN Bushfire partners with TRACE Africa

MTN Bushfire festival has partnered with TRACE Africa as the official media partner of the 2017 edition, which takes place from 26 to 28 May in the Malkerns Valley, Swaziland. With a couple of weeks before the fiesta kicks off, music lovers are set to enjoy a highlights package of the festival that will be aired on the popular music TV channel.

Trace Southern Africa vice-president Leo Manne expressed confidence that the partnership would bode well for Africa’s music scene and industry. “Trace Africa takes pride in being an authority on what’s hot on our continent and giving artists from our continent a world-class platform,” he said. “We feel MTN Bushfire is a physical extension of this and we’re excited to see how this partnership will further contribute to the development of our industry.”

Bushfire The Trace Africa team will be present to speak to the artists performing at the festival. All festival news and happenings will also be shared in real time via social media. As part of the announcement, Trace Africa viewers will stand a chance to win a MTN Bushfire VIP ticket. The competition will run via Trace Africa’s social media platforms. Bushfire has grown to become one of Africa’s top-rated events where approximately 26 000 fans from 60 countries converge at the Malkerns Valley, which is world-renowned for its scenic beauty and various cultural activities.
