TV series Agent commences production in Mauritius

Cinebar Studios Ltd, directed by Jeremy Nathan, announces the filming of a new drama series AGENT, from November 2017 for a period of 4 months, in Mauritius and South Africa.
Created and written by Athos Kyriakides, the series AGENT tracks the life of a former footballer who has become an agent, and reveals the glamorous underbelly of the world of African football.
BLAZE brilliantly handles the whims of his star footballers and pursues exciting new young talent. But he struggles to manage his own life and gets caught up in his past, a tragic night six years earlier when his life fell apart.
With casting from Mauritius, South Africa, Nigeria, UK and France, the Series is co-produced by Canal + International (Cécile Gérardin) and by Rudy Halgyrn of Collective Dream Studios, in whose new studios part of the filming will take place.
The Series has the support of several Mauritius partners, including the Board of Investment (BOI), SBM Bank, Air Mauritius and Swan Insurance.
AGENT was pre-purchased by CANAL + INTERNATIONAL and South African Broadcasting Corporation (SABC1) for distribution in Africa and around the world in 2018.
