L’Obs TV joined by Africanews in Senegal

Available in 38 countries in Sub-Saharan Africa and already broadcast in Senegal on Canal+ offer, Africanews is reinforcing its presence in the land of Teranga, thanks to the partnership with the new media outlet L’Obs TV, a Futurs Médias Group entity, created by Youssou N’DOUR.
Africanews was launched in 2016, stands out as the first pan-African multilingual media source produced simultaneously in French and English, and offering coverage of African and global news from a sub-Saharan perspective. Launched in January 2018, L’Obs TV is a thematic media outlet, the latest entity created by Futurs Médias Group. With the partnership of KWESE TV, the Senegalese audience will have access to all the world’s sporting events. A Free To Air channel, available on the Eutelsat 16A satellite.
L’Obs TV includes Africanews in French in its programming,every day from 9 am to 11 am WAT. With this new partnership, Africanews is increasing its audience in Senegal. This initiative enables Africanews, the leading pan-African and multilingual news channel, to strengthen its editorial position and thereby secure the loyalty of a wider audience. Africanews viewership has grown to 1.2 million additional people in Senegal.
