A row has erupted between the Botswana Communications Regulatory Authority (BOCRA) and MultiChoice Botswana (MCB), reports Biztechafrica citing court papers. This concerns Clause 13 of the licence BOCRA granted MultiChoice Botswana as a subscription service manager, and Section 90 of the BOCRA Act, which requires licensed service providers to submit their intended tariffs to BOCRA for approval. MultiChoice argues that it is impossible for it to provide such tariff information, as it does not provide such services itself, rather, they are supplied by MultiChoice Africa (MCA).
