Kwesé Free Sports Acquires Rights To Broadcast EHF Champions League

The African broadcaster Kwesé TV has entered into a partnership with the European Handball Federation for broadcasting rights to its Champions League club competition.

The newly-inked deal with EHF Marketing, the federation’s marketing arm, includes all the action from the first match, up until the finale of the 2018-19 Champions League season.

Champions League games will be broadcast on the free-to-air channel Kwesé Free Sports and also streamed on the Kwesé iflix mobile app.

Both platforms will show a live broadcast of the Champions League quarter-finals, as well as the season’s apex, the Final4, on June 1-2. All broadcasts will be offered with English commentary.

Kwesé Free Sports has established itself as one of Africa’s premium sports channels, with the most compelling and exciting sports line-up. On the other hand, Kwesé iflix is a youth-focused mobile streaming platform that offers a seamless mobile internet TV experiences to millions of viewers throughout Africa.
