Regulation & Policy

Angolan pay-TV operator Zap is offering customers of its Mini and Max packages a higher package than the one requested, as compensation for charging them from 26 February to 31 May 2019 at rates that had not approved by the Angolan Communications Institute (Inacom), reports Jornal de Angola.

For those who have acquired the Premium package, Zap is adding a film package. For all cases, the measures run for one month, after which the company offers three more days before returning each customer to their previous package.

For its part, Inacom stated that it obliged Zap to reimburse customers before updating the price of its services on 01 June.
