The current generation of African leaders is not really "internet-ready". There are exceptions but they are not at the top of the political pile. There is no widely dispersed, technically literate management elite to argue for a digital tomorrow. Much of this task will fall to the next generation: it is often school children who persuade their parents to take an interest in a particular subject.
