INTRINSIC SEES RETURNS FROM AFRICA, HEIGHTENS FOCUS

Squaring up to the challenge of developing further business in Africa this year Intrinsic Technology, the South Africa-based solutions and systems integrator, has cemented vendor relationships, beefed up its partner infrastructure and expanded on-the-ground sales teams across the continent.

The move is all part of an intention to expand its business in the southern, central, East and West African territories still further. And it’s one that Ed Callen, joint MD at Intrinsic, believes will yield benefits for both the company and its customers.

"Historically, we’ve focused on medium-to-large enterprises in South Africa and the SADC region. While we’re totally committed to our business here, recent developments have seen us expanding even further afield," he explains. We’ve identified some of the more important countries for us from a business development standpoint [the SADC community, Angola, Ghana, Kenya, Nigeria and Tanzania]. And we’ve highlighted the vertical markets that we’re strongest in [telecoms, financial services, mining, manufacturing, oil & gas and government]".
